Setup

My setup is fairly simple (see picture at right):

• A 4 or 6 foot table with black linen table covering
• Two speaker stands
• One light stand

Adequate room is required to ensure the best effect.  Generally, a space that is approximately 8' deep and 15' wide and directly adjacent to the dance floor will work well.

The Music Man Productions system is designed to provide excellent sound and lighting for almost any size venue.

Equipment

I use professional equipment for your event, including Yamaha powered speakers with 15" woofers; Numark sound mixer; Shure wireless microphone; American DJ and Chauvet lighting. 

Music

Music Man Productions is a 100% digital DJ.  I use a laptop computer and OtsDJ software to play digital music files.  I carry a backup laptop to every event, as well as CD's and dual-deck CD player for a third layer of protection.

My music library includes over 5,000 selections from every genre, including rock, country, pop, swing, jazz, and many more.  I update my library weekly to add the latest hits, as well as new "old' favorites.

Lighting

Lighting is the spice that helps flavor your event.  Lighting is included free of charge with every event, although you may choose not to have lighting.  My lighting rig is simple but effective:  several effects lights that move to the beat of the music and are used for uptemp songs; and two mirror-ball effect lights for slow dances.
